  1. This is great information and if scaled up could be a real game changer for viewers. Thank you Dallas, Kayley and Josh. Where do I find info about your next meetup in Porto? I am in PT now and am planning a week long scouting trip very soon. Mu schedule is flexible up to mid November when I return to NAmerica.

  2. This sounds like an interesting solution to a big issue, especially for those not shipping anything to PT (shipping adds another layer of complexity). The upfront cost of securing a lease right now can be so substantial. I hope he can expand his inventory because this could really help a certain cohort of people.

  3. I really can't believe that in this day and age he refuses to have a website. He doesn't show his face on camera, doesn't provide contact info. You cannot conduct business like this unless you're willing to sacrifice credibility and trust. I would be interested but seriously this is a major red flag.

  4. 😂 This company sounds like a real estate secret supper club of some kind; I have never seen a business try so hard to not be perceived.

‘I don’t always answer people on idealista”
    ‘We don’t have a website’
‘Ok, how should potential clients get in touch with you?’
‘. . . [sounds uncomfortable] Can they just contact you two instead?’

No hate, as you can see from my icon I am also about not being perceived—just 😂😂😂 over here as it built on itself

    Best wishes Dallas!!!!

  5. Hi Katie and Josh! Great job on this episode with Dallas. Please add me to the Patreon draw as well. I am also very interested in the "room" rental/lease version, but honestly, as Dallas kept the info coming on high speed, I don't think I understood how exactly it works. So yeah, I will send you an email to this regard. I also didn't know we have to have the rental/lease $$$ above & beyond the $$$ we put (& declare to consulate/SEF) in the bank account. Is this a requirement indeed? Thank you, your content is top notch, as always! 👍🍁

  6. I'm sorry but no website, not appearing on video, and providing no contact information is sketchy AF. Also how does a contract that provides for 4 months of actual occupancy, satisfy either San Francisco VFS's requirement for a 12 month lease, or DC VFS's requirement for a 6 month lease?

  7. Is the idea that you obtain the lease, get your D7 visa and prior to your SEF appointment you obtain another 12 month lease? I’m hearing SEF appointments are being pushed out more than 3-4 months.

  8. Sounds like a fantastic service and if we rent a room from the T5, for the SEF appt – will SEF be sending mail to this address or is everything online? Curious given if we intend to travel a bit within Portugal while waiting for the SEF appt, don't want to miss any mail that is delivered.

  9. There’s a lot to like here but…
if the SEF appointment is scheduled further out and beyond when the short term lease period expires with one of Dallas’ projects will SEF accept another short term (1 or 2 month) Airbnb type agreement as a follow on? I would hope so since SEF would have been aware and approved the original lease timeframe.

  10. Thank you again for a fabulous education session. My husband and I have appreciated both of your Thinkific courses as well – There’s a LOT of info in each course that we will use for years to come.

  11. Great service! I wish I had known about it sooner! It was a little off-putting that he wouldn't come on camera and did not value having a legit website – made it seem shady. A website is also a great place for customers to leave reviews of the service to add credibility!

  12. There is almost one million Americans in Portugal in a small country, making rents and house prices sky high and basically unaffordable to common Portuguese. Can Portuguese be against immigration when we are a country of emigrants, not really. But I am curious to know what is the positive impact to Portuguese people of immigrants in Portugal. Feel free to enlighten me. Besides the obvious that regular tourists would also provide.

  13. I signed up for a virtual mail service from a tourist visiting for several months. In spite of the fact that I was charged a monthly fee, the service did not work & no one would respond to emails. The “tourist” had changed phones & moved out of the city. This may be a legitimate service but buyer beware, there are a lot con men out there…
