Portuguese property bubble has entered the final innings I think. Prices are supported almost entirely by foreign buyers and various tax incentives. When 99% of locals are locked out of the market it only takes one shifting variable to swing the pendulum back in the other direction!

And I wanted to say something about property values. I am nor in real estate so my guesses are probably not very accurate but if that property were for sale about an hour from Toronto with that land, it would much more likely to be selling for 15 million Euros not 5.
i spend 2 months in the algarve just to realize i hate it. i hate the architecture.. hate the people … lots of things are shit. the only thing nice was good cheap food but nothing special. this house looks horrible. no flair … just like most american houses

I assume the video was made before the fires in Quinta do Logo. From how far away could you see the smoke? Could you see the smoke in Sao Bras? How much damage was done? The video that I saw made it look like the trees on the golf course were on fire which is almost impossible to fathom.
