The pressure is on our Portuguese farm renovation | Will we be ready??

This week it’s all hands on deck as we work to get the houses ready for us to move into the farm permanently. Our biggest issue is plumbing, as the pump that was originally on the farm breaks and leaves us with no water. But, there’s also all the clearing out to do and a whole lot of cleaning. Will we be ready? It all remains to be seen…

We’re renovating an abandoned farm in Northern Portugal, with a dream to turn it into a thriving off grid, sustainable home for our growing family. Join us as we embark on the adventure of a lifetime, sharing all the ups and downs and seeing where this path will lead us. One thing is for certain, we can’t wait for all of it!!

Please make sure you SUBSCRIBE and join us for the adventure.

  1. You need to check out the sewerage arrangements pronto it wont be pleasant if it is broken, flooding foul water not good around little kids or big ones for that matter. Oh yes hello from another African raised child.

  4. What a treasure you've found with this property & all the discoveries yet to be made. It's an exciting journey, just take 'one bite of the elephant at a time', you've already made a huge impact. I love the comment 'someday in the future, when we've got time' haha, made me laugh & reminisce. Crusoe has such a beautiful place to grow , develop & have adventures in. …I do hope the ivy didn't poison him, it can be so toxic.
