  1. Dave just saw your posting about some negative comments. I watch dozens of Portugal YouTube sites in preparing for my move next year. I sincerely like yours the best. Not theatrical no silly site names like Classy, Track Us, Journey, Addict etc. Keep it going.

  2. Does it not get lonely and boring? Even as a born and bred Portuguese guy who has lived in different places in the world, I shudder at the thought of relocating to any of the smaller towns. Being in my 20ies is probably a factor, but that would be like taking everything away from me. I admire those whose levels of inner peace allow them to find such a quiet lifestyle appealing. (edit: grammar)

  3. I'm Portuguese, and let me tell you, I'm quite jealous, awesome house bro with that sauna, so cool that you have so much free time and can spend it in these gorgeous rural areas, you do you man, you seem to be a nice dude

  4. Daveeee!!!!my man!!!!thank you for ypur work!!i cant wait to see u on Boom Festival next July!!Idanha-a-nova..near Castelo Branco i promisse you that youll be cotton for months,,,ahahahah!!big hug my friend!!u rock!!!

  5. We can tell you don't live in the northern part of this country, otherwise you would have float out of that pool as an ice cube, no sauna would have save you 😂
(What do you mean, that car was going fast!?)

  6. You're a pretty wholesome person Dave! I'm really happy to see the foreigner perspective on Portugal, and how positive it is.
Portugal gets a lot of hate, from Portuguese, rightfully so.
I wish I could enjoy half of the life you have here, but as for now, in 5 years I'm either gone from here, or (preferably) working remotely for a foreign company.
Our country is absolutely beautiful. I really don't want to leave…but I have no choice if I want to make a decent living 🙁
    Enjoy Portugal for me Dave!

  7. What a beautiful house and life! I want to thank you again for the restaurant recommendation. We are booked for new year’s eve dinner at Chama and we are thrilled. I’m the 27 years that we have been together we have never went out to a restaurant and spent hours eating and then celebrating the coming of the new year. Anyways, obrigada 😊

  8. Hi Dave,

If is not to much to ask, where do you live, what's the name of the city?
I live in the beautiful city of San Diego, CA. I'm sure you know…thanks for the videos and your time.
PS. Do you have a video about Lagos, cost of living, etc…like the other videos. I'm new to your channel.
    Thank you again
