The side of ETHIOPIA western media don't show

Ethiopia is arguably the most important country to Africa.

This is not a typical passport heavy production where the squad came out to film. I was in town for one of my best friends weddings & thought man let me create something. So I found a local up and upcoming filmmaker to shoot the video.

I really enjoyed my time with people and culture. Most people around the world have never seen Ethiopia like this before. Learning about the raw meat, dance culture and accommodations that makes you feel so comfortable that you just feel at peace.

This was a short trip and is definitely the warm up for what is to come in a future episode.

There is so much beauty in this country that you never see from western media.

That was my mission in this video.

Hope you enjoy

  1. I can't believe you had security fears. I've seen Bald and Indio travel there. Ethiopia has a rich history. I would love to try their coffee or Yemeni coffee.

  2. So the question becomes now for you Scholars who seem to be the historian experts on the continent of Africa what is the actual name of the continent that you call Africa

  3. Here's what I want to know about Ethiopia ever since I was about 10 years old they would show these little big headed starving babies and Ethiopia I am now 60 years old and they are still showing these little big headed starving babies and Ethiopia. Begging for money to buy food to feed the starving babies. now my question becomes why are these kids still starving after 50 years what's the really going on

  4. They buy the gum from the store and put on a couple birr. Her profit was maybe 10-20 birr. It wasn't that she want to hustle you. Everything on the street is more expensive because they need to make a profit.

  5. Thanks Bro. You are a kind man but relatively while spending thousands of dollars in top-notch hotels, haggling for a 100 Birr chewing gum to fund school fees….(glad you bought it in the end).❤

  6. The visa on arrival can be obtained at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport after visitors arrive in Ethiopia. There is no need to go to an embassy or consulate to complete a visa application beforehand. Visas on arrival are valid for up to 3 months and allow one entry into the country. Great vid thanks for sharing bro

  7. Visiting the big cities in the US like Los Angeles, one would have thought they are in Ethiopia as at every street and corner homeless people are camping …..

  8. I think its spose to say Habisha culture in the cc and not Hausa ( a people found in the West in Northern Nigeria ) 🤔 ☺️. Completely different groups though Hausa are nomadic and may have migrated from the east.

  9. I fill you brother well come to the motherland we love your positive energy Ethiopia is your home pls come back and visit the historical site it makes you proud I already give you Ethiopian name ( setota) means a gift

  10. Ethiopia the proud of Africa the symbol of freedom the home of a black peoples through out of the world well come to the motherland you fill it starting from your arrival

  11. I was jacking your video up untiI I saw Yakub come out in the Ethiopian wedding wrap and suit…fam….wtf??!!! and of course Mrs. melanin had to bring him to her homeland to embarrass herself even more…Africa is no longer #home and neither is the USA..#smfhh and you could of left out that whole scene of you and your friend Leo in the bathtub with your boxers on #violation frfr!!

  12. heard TimFerris Podcast lika month ago interviewing cameraman producer of Anthony Bourdain's old travel show. He was respectfully —saying the ppl of Ethiopia are soooo on point and can really get somewhere if the govt were more stable – again he said that humbly and super impressed with Ethiopia"s current generations.
Marc Weins also did a pretty good food ep on Ethiopia – if you want to get more into coffee, and cuisine which is considered to be very good here in the US.
