Firstly, there are defnitely a lot of russian investors that use london to launder money. Dont act like there is not a lot of russian organised crime.
Secondly, millionaire investors from not just Russia have driven property prices so high in London over the years which then has a knock on effect over most of the country and is the reason most young brits cant afford to move out od their parents house as the average income has barely increased yet the price of accomadation has just continued to skyrocket due to these exact investor types your talking about.
So I would appreciate if you would not just sneer at anyone who doesn't appreciate the amount of questionable money that has poured into london over the years.
I'm trying to think of good reasons why anyone who has 2 million pounds would want to move to the UK. There really aren't any. The UK is not the place it used to be. There are far better places to move to and invest in. Priti Patel would sooner let in illiterate refugees than wealthy investors.
