There's a different between"caring for" and "loving" your chickens. If they are raised for food purposes you care for them. If they are raised as pets you love them. I understand that. If it's for food, eat it. No problem here. Do what you need to feed them. You know what you're doing!
I hope you’re enjoying the day and the update on chickens. See you tomorrow 😊🐿
Good video Rob. I am going to talk to someone tomorrow about building a chicken coop for me. I am going to look at his and then with his help put a list together of materials to buy. So it is looking more hopeful.
That's what another You Tuber has said . He raise goats to sell and has some to eat . He also raise a pig and a bull for food . It's simple you are raising them for food and eggs . It's funny how everybody wants to tell total strangers how to live their lives .It's know of their business how or what you do with your animals
Wish you success on chicken food now on the rosters Boucher them there yours there mot pets there eating your food there yours !!
Rob its time invite rooster Roo to dinner
Why don't you get a breed of chickens that don't have to have a rooster to lay eggs? Like silkies?
Good video. Remember you can eat wild, off-grid rats and mice. Sounds like a plan incubating more chickens.
Good to see blue skies behind you. Love how you keep working it to make it better.
There are lots of different kinds and types of animals. People raised on a farm would understand, but I wasn't so I have to imagine. So many of us eat prepared food & don't have to think about it. It is still what it is.
Another answer for storage of feed is MarellsETAL garbage cans. You can line the cans with heavy duty lawn and leaf bags.
These are easier to move as they are smaller than the 55 gallon barrels.
Just a thought.
