I would just love to be 1/2 that fiesty when I am 93 years old.
Did you folks not listen? She chose not to pay because she thought she was going to die soon. The Home tried to find other assistance. The cops had a duty to arrest her when called…she was just a feisty old gal who was determined to have it her way. I blame her family for not keeping better tabs on her & I blame her for any injuries she may have received from law enforcement. You have an obligation to obey a lawful order.
What folks don’t seem to understand once an elderly person dies so to does a library of wisdom the cops and nursing care people need to take the time and refresh on classes each year on how to treat and care for the elderly

In England if a person with dementia lashes out in a care facility they are reported to the police and have it on their record and the home can then get more money but not sure if that is to give appropriate care to the 'offending' resident. Our shame.
