Theo and Bee gave up their busy city lifestyles in 2014 to explore alternative living, and have lived in vans and boats since then without looking back! Along with their cat Ginjey Bear they have been driving around the world in their self converted Sprinter van. However, when the global pandemic hit they began converting their abandoned stone barn in Central Portugal to turn into a wonderful tiny stone cottage. Along the way, they have rescued a playful cat called Furrnando and have a wonderful flock of Chickens!

The pump shelter in stone is going to be stunning. Have you considered a green roof… perhaps with wild flowers or succulents to go with prickly pear? This way the pump position is less visible. A stone bench might be nice too incase someone has to wait a while there to turn off pump.

the shed is definetly nicer than a plastic tunnel but it just seems ridiculously flimsy, overpriced for low quality.. that shelter you built behind the much much nicer

I would have put screw cup washers on the screws holding the water tank roof down to stop the screw heads pulling through. Just a thought.

What record breaking temps are you getting there….mHere in Southern Spain we have been about 10’C below what we were last year… we were in the mid 40’s for most of July, all of August and most of September, and in the 30’s at night, this year we have had one day where it hit 40, the rest of the time its been in the mid 30’s during the day and low 20’s at night. Its been more humid though so ‘feels’ hotter. 🤷
I so love to see you young people enjoying life as you work hard on your homestead and sharing your life with us.
Although Bee isn't talking to us, it's so good to see her doing her thing in the background and enjoying life in heŕ quiet way. I so love you two, it's almost like watching a 4rth adult son and his beloved.
