Theo and Bee gave up their busy city lifestyles in 2014 to explore alternative living, and have lived in vans and boats since then without looking back! Along with their cat Ginjey Bear they have been driving around the world in their self converted Sprinter van. However, when the global pandemic hit they began converting their abandoned stone barn in Central Portugal to turn into a wonderful tiny stone cottage. Along the way, they have rescued a playful cat called Furrnando and have a wonderful flock of Chickens!

  1. Hi Theo, awesome work on the heater. As a service engineer in heating systems I would like to say that there needs to be an inlet combination valve in-between the shut off and the boiler. Just a tip. Keep up the good work.

  2. Bee, it's bizarre to me that people expect to see you on every single video! Being part of a couple doesn't mean I need to be with my husband 24/7/365. We can occasionally do stuff apart. Or maybe you're behind the camera just not feeling like being "on." Don't other people have those days? I certainly get it! 😁 I applaud you for putting yourself out there for all this nonsense. I love seeing all that you both have accomplished and it inspires me to keep going on my own slog of projects. Sending love and light. 💖

  3. I live in the van and recently when I was driving from Poland to UK my batteries died. I was for 3 day on the road with no power. No lights, not being able to charge anything or run a fan in 30 degrees heat. Jackery would be a life saver in this situation. A backup power station is a must in the van, for all those rainy days and UK's winter 🙂 #JackerySolarWay

  4. Yet another wonderful insight into your lives in beautiful Portugal, thank you for showing up each week and sharing your home and little family with us.

I love your generosity of spirit too in promoting new channels for your subscribers to watch in tandem with yours. I've subscribed to Ricky and look forward to following him too on his journey.

I have to finish by saying that I have been planning my own adventure this year in preparation for leaving the UK in early 2023 and travelling across the continent as a solo female and can't wait! So much excitement and would love to be the winner of your Jackery competition….. Here's hoping!!

Much love to you Theo and Bee xx

  5. I don’t watch your Chanel any more and I un subscribed because one moment your talking the next your playing music so load I have to continually adjust the volume and your choice of music is awful!

  6. Are you sure you can do that. I could be wrong but I think you have to have a qualified technician's approval otherwise when you apply for a housing permit at the city council. You must have this installation approved.

  7. I think this is the first time watching your videos that I can fully appreciate your comments about the heat. It was 34c in the shade here yesterday in Lincolnshire.

  8. I love the river beaches and the beauty of Portugal. …I'm happy to see you enjoy it for me 😄 Theo you are the best.👍 You do what ever takes to achieve the goal and compete the project. What a great handy man. Watching Bee and you and the animals is a treat. I love all your projects. I can't miss any of your videos. Love you guys.💜

  9. Itis Minday evening as I type this to you. We just heard about the terrible heat in Portugal and England. Are you and your families okay??????? And how about your animals?????

  10. Hi Theo & Bea. Theo, is that white pvc pipe you are cutting and hooking up for incoming water? Wondering, shouldn't it be red ( hot) or blue (cold) Pex plumbing or copper for incoming water for drinkable, cooking and bathing – water? If yes, it's white pvc pipe for incoming water – I've always been told it's highly toxic for humans to use for any incoming water. Akways been told that you only use white pvc strictly for outgoing dirty or gray water. Just curious what it is. Thanks!
