  1. Seriously, no mention of waterfalls in the mountains? Or maybe it's not the best season to enjoy them? I was in Madeira in march 2020, right at the start of this Covid bullshit, and the thing that struck me the most in Madeira were the waterfalls in the mountains. Hiking the levadas in the center of the island, it felt like being in the Amazonian jungle. The mist, the vegetation, the humidity. And the waterfalls. Massive. Amazing.

  2. Madeirans are very far from a progressive, tolerant society and are very attached to an old, very backwards, uneducated way of living but the island has great infrastructure, absurd natural beauty and much dignity. It's diametrically opposite to mainland Portugal.

  3. Hi Ryan! You capture very beautiful footage of Madeira! This island is really wonderful! I think it is also famous for tropical flowers?! Unfortunately I have not yet managed to travel the island 😃

  4. 15 hours since it's been up and I never got a notification. This is an interesting choice. I have to admit I never thought about Madiera, but you make it look great. Those cliffs and rock formations are fantastic.
