Hello! Very helpful video(s)! I know you’ve been to the ER and have insurance, but I’m curious if you know whether there are restrictions on pre-existing medical conditions one might have and prescriptions related to those. For example, high blood pressure or diabetes?
Do the two of you even realize your natural charisma??? So easy going! And the cameras love you both! So what we're getting at is DO THIS and a whole lot more of it! Every media market in the US has a talk show like this. A favorite was George and Alana. Or Regis and Kathie Lee. Do you remember "Coffee Tawk" on SNL??? Build the entire Expat community around your weekly show. And every tourist to Madeira will want to tune in. Venues ( ie, Resort hotels) will throw themselves at you when you scout for glorious locations. Of all the people in our office who watch and comment, I, like most others, believe you're building something extraordinary. THIS format could be a home run! Or not. Give it a shot and remember they almost canceled Seinfeld after the first season.

You mentioned opening a bank account on your first scouting visit. Can you say what the minimum amount was and was that amount the minimum for opening up an account or for the visa? I hope I made sense?
Also I can’t remember for sure but I have in my head you guys purchased a place. If this isn’t the case my apologies but the question is did you rent for awhile before you purchased?
Although I’m extremely grateful for my wife’s family offering us a room in their house and or allowing us to stay with them not only on São Jorge but also Pico, I can’t help but be drawn to house I can call my own even if it’s only temporary. A place where I can wake up, pour myself a cup of coffee, stare at the ocean and maybe even the Volcano Montana do Pico all in complete silence and serenity. I love you Mãe Maria Irmão George. 😂
Since you mentioned you do your own oil changes on your VW how much does a liter of oil cost? I’m thinking you purchase 3 liters since it probably takes 2.5 liters if my memory serves me correct? By the way just curious what year vw? 1600 dual port? I worked on my share of vw air cooled for awhile and some water cooled. Extremely well designed motor, yes even with the oil bath air filter canister on top of the carb.

My 74 beetle had a paper air filter, not sure what year they changed but I knew people with the older oil bath type.
