Good to see we are all united
Is that one of those secret China police stations?
I'm sadden at all tasteless comments here. This is a tragic event. Why are some people leaving racist remarks or bringing politics into this?
This is a New Improved Canada –
Horrible, is this really happening in Canada?
You know it's bad when even Asians are burning down other Asians home's
too funny
The woman interviewed, who lost her best friend, seemed to suggest this was not just an accidental fire. She has knowledge of something that scares her … and that's not a basement fire. (I hope wild guesses are allowed here – perhaps the deceased did not pay back the loans to the snakes that smuggled them into Canada. A fire would send a warning to others.)

she has to smoke it.
she is so scary.
she can no slip.
oh well. Marry Christmas Everyone.
Why didn't City News give us some indication of who normally lived there? Like, in general terms, "the house was normally occupied by a middle aged couple etc." without getting too specific. Poor journalism.
any white people in this neighorhood?
immigrant families work super hard and chip in together for a home, sell for profit and buy more properties
maybe they were living in illegal basement apartment and not paying rent to landlord for 8 months. who knows
TIME FOR THE EMERGENCY ACT SHUT EVERYTHING DOWN AND HIDE IN YOUR CLOSET
Another day in Trudeaus Canada
Time to ban fires
Audited = ILLEGAL basements (All Around Ontario). Safety came first, not profits.
40 years in this country and still speaky no English!
"Im so scary" lol dead anyways rip to the departed very sad
Strange interviews! One woman hamming it up big time, and then that dude openly saying he is afraid for his life and property when the cops are around. 100% chance they were cooking inside on an open fire of some sort, foreigners love that for some reason.
The closest fire station is like 3minutes away from that house too, very odd circumstances
We need to hear what Justin Trudeau thinks about house fires. Maybe he needs to call an emergency act
