I’d be really interested in more specifics on the properties you introduce, like how much work and money it would take to renovate, layout of rooms and land, etc. It seems that most people are wearing rose colored glasses when contemplating a purchase such as this. Even with a large piece of land you need plenty of savings and an income stream because there are always expenses like telephone, internet, car, taxes, utilities, some groceries. Earning an income from the land requires lots of labor and equipment as well as knowledge of farming methods/contacts to markets. Maybe you can address these concerns in a Video some time.

I think I should be encouraging younger Australians to emigrate to Portugal as the prices of homes here as I gather they have in England have gone mad.
I really liked this one Nic and Sarah , don't I wish I had know about it twenty to thirty years ago. It needs alot of work but it has so much potentail.
Nick I have a giant map of Portugal and every time you go out with an estate agent I run to it and try to find the village you are in. I realize that this property is on the edge of a mountain range but the land is perfect. It is understandable that Paula kept emphasizing that the land was flat. That is something I haven't seen in the many Portugal videos I have watched. The view is amazing even though the land is flat. It would cost well over 100K euros to do the work this house needs but it would be a great investment.
I was going to comment that Sarah needs to carry a grocery bag with her but see that someone has beat me to that. I also am happy to watch these videos and let the realtors know that your videos are bringing me to their business if this means that Sarah can get away from nursing. Lose the shots of that woman stuffing her cheeks with other people's oranges like a greedy chipmunk. That joke was getting old by about the third video you had it on. Suggest she stuffs her face off camera – it just looks unprofessional and brings down the tone of the channel. A pity, because you turn up some interesting properties.
The house and land have potential, however, I don’t like the idea of living so close to those power lines.
Very nice! In my opinion this property has tons of potential. There is enough land to have green space (lawn), pool area, garden plot and a nice size patio by a pool. I could also imagine putting in some french doors that open to a terrace. Imagine morning coffee or evening cocktails sitting out on the terrace. Oh, let's not forget about the abundant fruit trees….Sarah! I'm no expert on property value but I believe this is a fair price. Hi guys wahay she found the oranges,nice property to renovate plenty of potential good value for the price but a lot of work,not too keen on the outside other property’s need a lot of work.tell me when you look at the roofs in these houses there seems to be a lot of gaps between the tiles must get very draughty in the winter.
All the wall damage is due to seismic activity. This is an active area.
I loved the garden area but not so much the house area, but I think the right people could turn this into a lovely place. Since I am an old county gal I like more open spaces but I hope someone buys & then shows us the results after restoration. If she was a realtor in the USA, they generally feed you, "these walls are not structural" only to find out the realtor was wrong, and now you are stuck and with no recourse. Do research, or if possible, hire an architectural engineer before signing any documents, if you intend to knock down walls.
