  1. Go to Cancún or Tulum. Gorgeous beaches cleaner than Playa Del Carmen which is like Santa Monica to me.

I was in Tulum back in 2005 the ruins were still intact and it wasn’t a major tourist destination so it wasn’t enclosed like a proper park like it is today. I went back in 2017 (disappointing there is a Starbucks:(. Its still worth seeing if you go. Great restaurants along the beach. I was there for 3 weeks on retreat.

  2. Stephanie, I am so glad I took the time to watch this video. I’m so on board with meeting other like minded black women wanting to start a new healthy chapter in their lives while working on breaking up with my/their unhealthy relationship with Amerikkka. I told my kids I’m going to Mexico this 4th of July and I want my accommodations/plane tickets to be my Mother’s Day gift this year. I haven’t logged onto FB in almost 3 years and I’m not giving them my Id so I will subscribe to your instagram and hope for the best.

  3. You mentioned Student Loans payments: This is not an advertisement, just trying to help:
Student loan programs to reduce or forgive payments based on income. The Income Based programs abbreviation: IDR and IBR (ask your servicer about these programs). If your income is low enough, you could pay zero monthly. Have to renew yearly. The balance forgiven after 10 to 25 years depending on program!

  4. Excellent best to change location where your community feels comfortable and relaxed . No offence but Mexico better . Need to avoid microaggressive places as much as possible as racism is normalised too much everywhere .

  5. June 30th is my birthday and interestingly enough I had planned a trip to visit Mexico in preparation of moving there. My dates were going to be June 28 through July 5 so this is amazing! Total confirmation!
