In 2019 i was holidaying in Lagos and stumbled across the derelict, abandoned Golfinho hotel, and as you do, decided to go explore. It looked as if there had been workmen in to maybe start clearing it out in readiness for demolishing and re-development

Hi, I was wondering if you recently went there. I saw your comment on the work going on in around the hotel. It is IR GROUP that is going to refurbish the hotel. They are now selling the units with high expectations but dont know if it will be true or not. Can you tell more if there is REAL work ongoing? Thanks
This hotel was the most beautiful hotel I had ever stayed on and to see how it is now saddens me a great deal. Closed now since 2004 or even 2003 why was this allowed to happen? In such a beautiful spot as well. The hotel was also very popular and very plush. I cannot understand how it got to this really I cant!
