+Map painting is easier than ever before

Overall I'd wait for a few patches to fix the AI before buying but I do think the game is not beyond saving, right now it's a 6/10 from my non review.

I have nearly 7000 hours played as Victoria 2 and I may end up sticking with Vic 2 for another 7000 hours

Unfortunately Paradox went with the extremely confusing User Interface style of EU IV rather than the clean and easy to use user interface of Victoria 2.

This game is going be awesome when they finally release it after $200 of DLC.

Eventhough you don't recommend it at the moment, I'm probably getting it because I never figured Victoria 2 out, bought it because of you (and because the City I come from is an independent nation in it) but it was even more complicated than Hearts of Iron and I got tired of it pretty fast. I'm sure after DLC 1 and 2 Vic 3 will be as complicated as any other Paradox game though.

I found both warfare and economics realistic for the time but can we just agree on annoyance of rng in this game. I just restarted my save because I failed to reform a law like 7 times it was at %70 at that point. It is funny when you destroy ur own armies in a siege in eu4 but that shit aint funny.

Paradox somehow managed to mess up the base game harder than Imperator Rome. Hopefully they don't drop it like a lead balloon

My biggest issue is definitely the war system. Being unable to properly manage your army is a serious issue
