As a boy we regularly flew on DC-3's with Indian Airlines. The cabins weren't pressurized so you got a candy to suck on to help your ears pop.
My dad flew out from Bhopal but it turned around after 15 minutes. Passengers disembarked while an engine was replaced. They then reloaded and took of without testing it.
