  1. Well done Kyle.. I served in the Army & being live in person with all the gear/machinery etc it is very surreal for sure! You did all these Hawaii vlogs very well! I’m catching up on my vids.. Such a busy summer! 👍

  2. Thank you Kyle. I’m so glad you went to see this and shared it with us. I love your love of WW2 history. My son is 23 and loves it as well. Made my heart sing to see it in another person in their 20’s know and respect it.

  3. I definitely enjoyed the history lesson as you walked through the Pearl Harbor exhibits. I enjoyed visiting the Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor and highly recommend it. The day I went it was packed and busy but the mood was solemn and very respectful.

  4. I have a friend who's family lives in Hawaii. The house they still have is up on a mountainside. My friends Grandparents watched the attack from their home those 81 years ago. They saw the planes flying overhead and watched as the ships in Pearl Harbor were bombed. It was a very frightening time for the people of Hawaii and of course our Nation. Thanks for sharing, Kyle. I was there 49 years ago as a teenager. Back then travel was so amazing. We dressed up for everything. Got a Leah greeting when we arrived. The food on the plane was exquisite. Good times. Safe travels!

  5. Kyle!!! Did you know that you can visit a WWII museum and submarine right across Lake Michigan! Take the ferry over to Muskegon and check out the USS Silversides! It looks just like the one you went on in HI, but…. You can actually stay the night on the one in MI!! We go every year with the cub scouts and love it!! We’ll have to send you some pics. It’s very cool and you would love it! The museum is Awesome, and the beach right up the road is fire! Of course, if you come to MI.. you have to let us know 😆 thanks for all the aulauni videos… loved checking it out with you. Welcome back to the main land

  6. i LOVED the whole history bit you did in the middle, your passion for that really shines through. I'm all for more content like it, indulge your passions and interests for history! Well done man, you seemed super professional and like an authority on the subject.

  7. Over 70 bucks for pancakes and drinks. I'll pass and you compare it to steakhouse 71 which I got food poisoning at. I was puking my guts up 1 hour after eating there. I didn't have any alcohol there either. You know it was food poisoning because after I threw up I felt a hell of a lot better

  8. We have the Battleship North Carolina back home and it was always so cool walking through it! There are so many rooms inside and they just keep going and going. It takes hours to go through the whole thing but well worth the visits. Like you said you don’t need to be a history buff to enjoy going through a ship like this.

  9. This video has some great views and lots of positive comments, but, the "like to dislike" ratio is horrific! I can't understand why? Is Kyle being brigaded? His stuff is so fun, and positive and wholesome.

  10. Went to hawaii a few years back. Didn’t stay at Aulani, we were at the Marriott down the lagoon. Share your love of history and Pearl Harbor was the best day of our trip.

This is truly one of my favorite vlogs I’ve ever watched. You captured both the excitement and heaviness that you feel when visiting everything.

    Thanks for this.

  11. I think you missed your calling. You should be a history correspondent! Or something similar! That was the most interesting footage and tour I have seen about WWII in a while! Thank you for your talents!

  12. I lived on O'ahu for 4 years during my undergrad. I visited Pearl Harbour 3 times and each were special, but I was only finally able to walk on The Arizona Memorial the last time, the month I was leaving, with my grandmother who's husband was a Korea War Navy Vet , and amazingly enough a USS Arizona survivor was there that day…completely unplanned, but spoke to everyone while on the monument.

  13. What an incredible opportunity for someone such as yourself who is such a history buff to be able to spend this day at Pearl Harbor. My dad was involved in WWII and had some incredible stories to share. Thanks for the tour.

  14. The BEST Video in my eyes you have ever done. I watch all your vlogs and love them all but this one sets them apart. The history and your love for this took me away. Thank you sooo much Kyle.
