Visiting Porto is Like Stepping Back in Time! | Portugal

So many buildings that are over 100 years old in this city. Everywhere you see beautiful old buildings, churches and palaces. Not to mention the houses themselves just have an old feel and look to them. This city is so esthetically pleasing and interesting. Walking through Porto, is truly like stepping back in time.

  1. You must be informed about the city avoiding frequent questions concerning all you see. The sound of your voice seems a child opening and discovering Xmas presents! WOW! You failed enter the spectacular São Bento train station, you didn’t see the view from the Episcopal Palace…sorry!

  2. Hey Kerry, liked that a lot ! BUT if you REALLY want to be blown away by the age and architecture of Iberia, you need to try either Merida or Caceres in Extremadura; if i had to choose just one, it would be Caceres' almost perfect , the main square is the best anywhere, let alone the extensive 14-17c old town ! ! J

  3. Hi kerry was wondering how you find your way back to the hostels.if that was me i would be lost not knowing the city.great footage of porto.must be a really old city.take care man.

  4. I was in Porto in August 2020. The restaurants are fabulous. Very fresh food, half the price in Spain. I had a wonderful dinner right in the port area for less than €10 including wine. The house white is usually €1 a glass. Porto is very mysterious. I feel there was a calamity there maybe 100 years ago that no one talks about. So many destroyed beautiful buildings. Also many buildings have glass domes with doors as if there was air transit by blimp. It was easy to imagine a fantastic lifestyle there in the past. Be sure to visit the old bookstore with a marvelous wood carved staircase.
