The first location is the city of Viseu and we stay in the town centre Motorhome Aire, which can be found using this google map link

A short drive to the town of Tondela is next on this N2 trip you can find the tourist information office and museum using this google map link

There is a fantastic scenic bike ride from Viseu to Santa Comba Dao called the Ecopista do Dao and you can find out all about it from this website

Finally, we find a beautiful wild camping spot near a huge lake in Santa Comba Dao. You can find this spot via this google map link

  1. Loving the series Greg, we now live about 20 minutes from the N2 near Abrantes and would have met up for a beer if we had known. If you travel back at all get in touch. We have a good group of YouTube people in our area.

  2. We've just relaxed and enjoyed the video by a warm fire. Not something it looks like you need where you are. I was surprised how beautiful and green the scenery is. Thanks again for another great video.

  3. Great video Greg, the Tram tracks and all the old buildings were lovely to see. The beach park up also had stunning views. I am loving this series of videos and we are looking forward to seeing you both very soon. Give our love Lou x

  4. Hi Greg yet another great Vid.
I maybe wrong but I thought I saw a video you did of the installation of the charging electrics including mains, split charger and solar but don't seam to be able to find it! Am I dreaming?

  5. After some research, I found literally hundreds of river beaches in the interior of Portugal. Not all of them have park ups but there are some stunning waterfalls, lakes and plunge pools to be had. I am planning a wild swimming tour through Portugal next year.

  6. I lived in Tabua, approx 20 minutes away, for 17 years and used to take my dogs for walks down there. Beautiful spot but even in the summer it was never too busy, GNR used to patrol looking for anglers without a license.

  7. Brilliant vloggs you pair. Love the way you travel the N2 deffinately a route were now planning to do when retirement allows. You motivate us keep it up and enjoy your adventures. Andy & Jules.

  8. Thank You for another great Video Greg, Portugal has so much to offer, and tx for the stacking pot idea, we use a dble one at home, but I never thought of getting a set for the Van.

  9. Definitely worth the walk up, beautiful. That walk down is when you need a skateboard 😂
Mondays is definitely a travel day then ✅
Our bikes are going to come in handy for Portugal.
That last spot was fantastic, great recommendation 👍
We love steamed veg, it’s just a pain using a steamer in the motorhome as it gets too steamed up inside. We are trying to find an alternative solution ie an instant pot we think 🤔

  10. What a lovely video of my lovely country and it is so nice to see that some of my neighbours here in UK don’t just go to the Algarve and actually enjoy to explore what my the country has to offer, hope you keep to show what most of us don’t see. Enjoy

  11. Thank you for another relaxing and informative post. We are really enjoying your informative and lovely trip Your style is perfect. Thank you for sharing your holiday with us

  12. I used to help with the maintenance of the Shipley Glen Tramway in Saltaire, West Yorkshire. It’s a similar type to that one but more touristy, it is in a superb World Heritage site – lots to see and do, well worth a visit!
