Loved this video Nick – awesome! 😁👍
I think Fatima would be a big destination for a trip too. Since that is where Mary appeared.
Hello there A.A. Can you do a video visitig the motor racing circuit just north of Portimao? I'm sure there will be a sportscar race there soon. The 24 hours of Portimao is in July I think. Go there and do a video!
4:45 looks at camera, checks shoulder to see who's watching…. drinks empty espresso.
Mate, at 5:47 that's not a coffee, that's a "galão" (milk and coffee), but the cake looks nice.
And that house (08:07) is quite similar to my grand grandmother's house (already demolished by now), except for the roof.
I really need to visit Peneda-Gerês…
In my list are Guimarães and Viana do Castelo.
i'd suggest Ponte de Lima and Barcelos (pretty close together), Monsanto and…. Chaves? Braganća?
“So cold” at 16-17? Lol. The Algarve has made you soft!🤣
Porto is nice but it's a big city. I'm currently in Portugal visiting my wife's mom and dad in Northern Portugal We are in Ponte de Barca which is only 1.15 minute drive from Porto. It's a quiet town and also close to Braga and Ponte de Lima. The Spanish Border is a little over an hour east. Baiona, and Vigo Spain are also very close. Check it out.
Thanks!
Of course I would visit the three places you guys are going to, but I would also like to stay for a while in Caminha, just south of the Spanish border. We passed through there on our way to Lisbon last Sept.
Would visit Guimaraes, Aveiro and Vigo, Spain (is that cheating?) or Tomar (is that northern PT?) simply because I've heard a lot about these places but haven't been. Have visited Porto, Braga and Coimbra. Need to return since our previous trip was too fast and not enough time to really get the true sense of (potential) "living" in these areas. BTW–Nice car. Did you upgrade? 👍
Go to Arouca 516, Coimbra and Serra de Estrella
When we went to Porto I had to ask about the line at that bookstore…I had no idea! Well, in Porto style when I inquired about what the line was about, the doorman responded,"it's the most beautiful bookstore in the world"!! I, like you, did not wait in line and went off into the park!!
Praia da Costa Nova, and wherever those long steps are.
Porto 👍
