Recently, Airbnb released its Summer 2022 Updates Release that announced the introduction of three features:
1. Categories
2. Split Stays
3. Aircover
Split Stays is a feature that provides automated suggestions to guests looking for stays longer than a week by recommending to split their stay between two different properties, allowing guests to experience two properties in one stay.
In this video, we talk about how Airbnb is using Split Stays to provide more choices to its guests while also increasing the reach of its hosts.
We also provide a quick look at what Split Stay recommendations look like to guests on the Airbnb platform.

I was happy to be surprised by the split stays (I ignored the intro to new features video at first). I do wish we could filter specifically on split stays though! OR to even pick the city or general areas for the split stay.
