Most of these countries are not in Europe Union .So just calm yourselve !! Your sketches are totally and utterly wrong and distortet
ITS THE MOST CRAPPY ON
YOUTUBE
To be fair with Andorra, it's a really. REALLY little state. Well, it's a town with 118km (73,32 miles) boarders in the middle of the pyrenees, so… not too much space for an airport, not for a big one at least.
First of all about men are having a higher paycheck than women! This has nothing to do with wether the man works harder… we have set hours and set salaries. Overtime is not really a thing in Europe either. So yes there is a gap in some of the countries.
Finland is the happiest country i. The world based on feeling sacure and valued. The over all social security works well, you never have to get p3nniless due to medical/hospitalbills and awhole lot more. The depression has to do with other things like the long dark winters with barely any daylight.
Austria: Worst UN Secretary General Kurt Waldheim, he was a sodding Nazi!
Quite interesting, now looking forward to Part 2; greetings from Spain!
Andorra – the insane stat about smoking is fake, because I bet it's based with sells per capita. Having less taxes on tobacco a lot of foreign people buys cigarettes in Andorra and that inflates the stats.
Death penalty isn't a "political thing", it's just dumb because it doesn't work in the battle against crime (tons of scientific papers prove that) and it's often abused by the few barbaric countries that still have that.
Belgium/COVID: B. is probably one of the most populated areas in the planet. There are cities over 23.000 inhabitants/km², considering LA is "only" 3.200 inhabitants/km²
Only in very primitive economies the value on work is only depending on the amount of work. Such reasoning explains nothing in contemporary economic world.
The value of work in more related to the market value.
Different competences, responsibilities, experience performance and the availability of labor is much more relevant in most job positions in market based economies.
Gender based cultural differences exist and manifest clearly in jobs which are clearly dominated by either gender.
Then there are also differences on how leadership positions are filled. Traditionally women have been less motivated to take leadership in many cultures. It is still seen in many fields even in otherwise more equal cultures.
Since when do we consider Armenia and Kazakhstan to be European? Even Turkey isnt really considered european despite having a little bit of their land on the european continent. I wonder if the guy who did this video took Eurovision as a reference, where Kazakhstan isnt a part of but still.
The EU has only 27 members so far. I dont even know if Armenia can even join the EU.
The US also has a death penalty as far as I know…. why the reaction though?
I am from Croatia and I can totally agree with the statement 🤣🤣🤣 We are aware of that and even joke about it. BUT I think our dear politicians said to do something about it. Who knows if it will happen and if it will it depends when. There are some things that take an eternity here. But our busses are quite good and you get easy from place to place 😉
Being the least religious country is actually a good thing. I wish in Croatia religion would be less and not the center of many things that tbh make some decisions harder but also having less judgement regarding some stuff due to religious belief would be a blessing as well.
To be fair, most Eastern European countries are still getting over Soviet Occupation. They also suffered a brain drain to Western Europe after the Soviet Union collapsed.
(11:10) I see some Anglo-centric imagery being used. Black square hat. In Italy, from easily accessible imagery, the "hat" you wear is a wreath.
(4:10) If it's found out that you have mistakenly imprisoned the wrong person, you can release them, and pay them back for lost time and all that. If that person has been killed wrongly (which has happened), you can't undo that.
(3:20) Correct. Being in EU gives you visa-free access to all EU countries, and usually many more countries that have a trust in EU, like Norway, Iceland, Switzerland, Serbia, Albania, Montenegro, and more
(2:50) Maybe a lot of foreigners buying cigarettes there. When the country is so small, the foreigners can outnumber the locals, and when you look at sales (how else are you going to count smoking) compared to the population, that number will be wrong. Plus that when you buy a package, statistically you have smoked the whole package, even if you throw half way, or lost half of it.
(1:25) By logic, yes. Regardless of what you have, you'll always have a best and a worst. Doesn't mean that is the best of all things, but the best that it can do, and it doesn't mean that the worst thing is a bad thing, just the worst that it can do. Take the basketball team with the tallest players, one of them will still be "the shortest" of that team, even if they aren't short.
It's NOT Euro-pe-an. It's Euro-pean. This is an American trait that is really pissing me off now. It's not big, clever, or flattering, or English!
Calm down. You might be too loud for Finnish ears !!!
I searched for 20 mins about Italy' s lack of cultural diversity and its just bullshit.
Andorra is the smallest country in Europe, and mostly mountains and rivers and trees, where tf does this guy expect a save airport should be build there? xD
About the homeless crisis: we do offer help for those to get back into apartments. Not just shelters, but actual help for filing for social security to pay rent, finding an apartment, psychological help, all of that. But if people don't take on the offer, it's hard to help.
And for the immegrants: it's absolutly fucking mindblowing how they fall through, even if they shouldn't. Man, that disgusts me.
I'm from Austria and it really is a pretty nice country
I wonder if the Netherlands is in part 2
Lol, apparently I need to go tell my friends from Venezuela, Colombia, Brazil, Germany, Spain and Norway that we cant be friends anymore because Im from Denmark 🤣🤣🤣
Andorra is tiny. Its cigarettes are cheaper than bordering countries and so the vast majority of cigarettes sold go out over the borders.
Never having a McDonald's is surely a positive 🙂
I dropped the 100th like on this video
You should watch what every country is best at too
you should really take a look at the history of the EU. Some countries in Europe are only free for about 30 years. The USSR wasn´t a good thing for those European countries
The guy gives numbers of people in Germany who don't have a home. Anyone who lives in a refugee shelter or in a shelter for the homeless doesn't live on the street. They just don't have their own apartment. Anyone can get state support. Even those who (want to) live voluntarily on the streets, so to speak.
Azerbeidjan and Armenia are not in Europe, even geographically speaking
sorry but when it comes to the home country of the church, it doesn't surprise me as far as Italy is concerned
Greece gave the world so much that its ok to take a break lol and let someone else give to the world but we will be back with more to give and yes we smoke alot take care and tell next time peace!!!
For Diana, but it is not difficult to understand, general happiness and the number of people who have suffered from depressive states are not related. The second figure is a percentage of the population that has suffered from a psychological condition, say that 4% of the population (I roll random numbers to give an example) takes you to the bottom of the ranking as the country with the most depressed people. The general happiness index is a conglomerate of data extended to the whole population, in a certain way it can also be said that the Finnish depressed is happier than the depressed person of any other nation. Did I get the idea?
Statistically each Andorran buys in average 17 cigarettes per day – but does not necessarily smoke them. Andorra is not a member of the EU, but a treaty between Andorra and the EU constitutes a tariff union. Andorra imports tobacco products from the EU at a reduced tariff. Since Andorra puts no additional taxes at tobacco (like all EU states are obliged to do), cigarettes are far more cheaper there. So many smokers from the adjacent regions of France and Spain buy their vice remedies here (re-entering the EU 300 cigarettes or 75 cigars per adult are allowed) – which means sales per capita are statistically far higher than the actual consumption.
Armenia is one of the formerly Soviet republics now independent. It is squeezed between Turkey and Azerbaijan – and in conflict with Azerbaijan about since they both became independent. The main point of dispute is the region of Nagorno-Karabakh, a region within Azerbaijan mostly inhabited by Armenians, which declared independence from Azerbaijan in 1991, which was supported by Armenia. In the resulting war Armenia was supported by Russian and Ukrainian volunteers as well as the Russian government, while Azerbaijan was supported by Turkey and fighters from Chechnya; it ended with a cease fire in 1994. In 2020 Azerbaijan restarted the war (with some inofficial support from Russia). The Armenian forces were defeated, Nagorny-Karabakh is now controlled partly by Russian peacekeeping troops and partly by Azerbaijani troops.
Belarus had a emigration problem. So "president" Lukashenko introduced in 2013 a new law: Workers in the timber industry (about 20,000 then) have to pay back all their wages if they resign to get another job (or to emigrate).
The population decline in Bulgaria is mostly caused by its poorness (and also its corruption problems): It has a very high emigration rate. While it had still 7.9 Mio inhabitants in 2001, it had only 6.9 Mio inhabitants in 2020.
Finland has very dark winters, which can cause depressions. That is also one of the reasons for the high taxes on alcohol in Scandinavia – to prevent people with seasonal depressions to became alcoholics. Finns also do often have a very dark humour, so it is sometimes difficult to see whether they are depressive or joking about being depressive or both. If anyone could be happy and depressive at the same time, it would be a Finn.
Germany: The (estimated) numbers of homeless people in 2020 are comprised from about 161,000 refugees in public accomodations, 256,000 other peoples in public accomodations and 45,000 people living on the street, in total 462,000 people. It is partly caused by a housing policy during the Merkel administration which led to stagnation or even regional decline in offers of affordable accomodation while the demand did rise at the same time.
The debt crisis in Greece was partly caused by the financial crisis of 2007/8, partly by bad finance management before and during that worldwide crisis. But nowadays the credit rating of Greece was raised again to 'BB' (Italy and Portugal are both 'BBB'). This was achieved by selling public property, radical cutbacks in the social budget and other controversial means.
Just know that lowest at something in Europe is in many cases still better than America
I'm from Slovenia, and i can't really think of one thing that we would suck at, we have couple of stupid politician but i guess every country have them and if i'm honest i consider myself to be lucky to be born and live here. Maybe we are worst at getting recognized, just look at this video they can't even find something to include as at their list of countries XD
Estonia being the least religious is not the fact in the category being worst at but exactly the opposite.
Why is being the least religious country in the world a bad thing? I disagree with that
An example of the completely ridiculous comment is that this guy does not know that the airport is in Seu d'Urguel an astounding 40 minutes train ride from Andorra center city.
Why is being the least religious country a bad thing? Biases speaking there 😅
