England want attacking football. Not 11 men defense we have arguably one of the greatest attacking set of players. And we don't utilise it.

I think they do have a point about over reliance on Kane. The problem is that Kane is human. He has off days, can have injuries, periods of poor form. Take Kane's goals away and the team is definitely much weaker.

If the players dont wanna show up for nations league games at the end of the season, it will reflect on them like it does now. Most likely be relegated to lvl B and will be seeded on lvl 2. In the euroes might not be any trouble, but it might be in the world cup qualifiers when only winners of the grp gets qualified. You will then get tougher teams, and good luck trying to win the group if gets in group with Belgium, Portugal, France, Germany for example. Then having to go through playoffs is not easy, look at Italy who are reigning European Champions. And England are playing boring football under Southgate compared to the players that they got. Only against Ukraine in the Euros were England very good, the rest was not good enough playing wise.

Totally agree about Southgate but was a bit disappointed by the dismissive comparison of 12 hour workdays – my housemate who also watches is a care worker that does 12 hour days in a row with physically demanding clients for a lot less money than a GK!

England fans just want entertainment how hard is that to grasp. Playing 5 at the back against Hungary in the first game was an utter embarrassment. With the players we have at our disposal it is possible to play attacking football and win matches. It doesn't have to be attacking football but getting pumped (like Leeds) or play Defensive and win (like Mourinho) its possible to mix both together and Gareth just doesn't see it

England arent good enough to go for it you lads are deluded – spain , germany ,france brazil , arengtina all have better squads

I think Southgate will leave after World Cup. He see how media & fans are turning slowly against him despite reaching semi final & final in two major tournaments. In 10yrs time ppl will look back & see how good job Southgate has done.
