Theo and Bee gave up their busy city lifestyles in 2014 to explore alternative living, and have lived in vans and boats since then without looking back! Along with their cat Ginjey Bear they have been driving around the world in their self converted Sprinter van. However, when the global pandemic hit they began converting their abandoned stone barn in Central Portugal to turn into a wonderful tiny stone cottage. Along the way, they have rescued a playful cat called Furrnando and have a wonderful flock of Chickens!

While your lake is down is a good time to build any docks boat house or dive platforms . Put some concrete anchors down to float a platform. Measure your depths and mark it.

That garage doesn't look too impressive from the outside as far as size goes, but there really IS a lot of room in there. Smart move to get that fixed up before all the miscellaneous jobs are in full swing.
I like that you are leaving those higher ceilings in the rental the stained wood when there is no light problem in the rooms. Paint is fine when you are dealing with such low ceilings in part of the place. There will still be plenty of that old world charm from the rest of the house.
Are you and Bea going to keep all three of your properties? I am just wondering, that will a lot of work.

Glad Bee is better. Good she is studying Portugues, so than she can socialize and have a hobby and meet people, that would be definitely great for her situation, would help a lot.
