  1. Hi Aja I’ve been watching you for awhile. I’m a new content creator. Also a registered nurse. I arrived today in Merida. I was in Mexico City for 5 days. I love your energy. Keep bringing good content. I’m going to also check out Playa in a few days. I’m in the process of moving from Dominican Republic. 🌹

  2. This sounds amazing. And I watched your precious video about the 6 rentals I was blown away. I'm like Lord what am I doing wasting money in America??!! But with Mexico I was wondering about the cartels? How is that? I hope this is not a silly question because there is crime everywhere. But I agree with you when you said make plans today cause you don't have all the time in the world.

  3. Hi Aja! What are your thoughts on Playa del Carmen? I wanting to make the move just not sure where to go in Mexico. I do like being near the beach but I just wanted to get your thoughts. BTW, your channel was the FIRST I saw when I started researching. Love your content!

  4. Aja, Mexico looks good on you. You just look happy and chilled. So, a couple of replies to some of the questions you got. #1 Americans can buy land and property but it has to be done thru a trust (fideocomismo) excuse the spelling. One important thing is …BEWARE if it's Ejido land!!! This is land that was given to certain nationals and their families. If you buy and it's not done right….Uncle Jose can come out of the blue and say he is entitled to that land. #2 Cartoons are great to learn Spanish. Also, the Telenovelas (soap operas). #3 Re racism – my darling racism is everywhere. One thing I do when I arrive in a country is to turn on the t.v and look at the telenovelas and the news. Also, look at their politicians. Usually they are all White. Who ever they have "out front" representing them……is the preferred people. And, yes….there is definitely classism and racism in Mexico. Just ask the "browns". #4 Yes, there are some…but very few banks in the US who will give you loans for purchase of homes in Mexico. And, there are banks in Mexico who will mortgage you. The interest is higher and it's a bit difficult. Pretty much it's a cash deal.
Aja!!!!!! I'm almost ready to leave!!! Getting taxes done. Finishing up dental stuff…saving the big stuff for Mexico. and a bunch of details. Then I'm gone! Love you, Lil Sis. P.S. I still say your other half is in Europe! Portugal? Italy? Just saying.

  5. Rocky Point…what the gringos call it……is Puerto Penasco…and is only 4 hours from Tucson,Az…I grew up In Sonora…and this was THE place to go for the ASU and UA spring breakers❤️🇲🇽

  6. It’s changed now that Mexico has raised its standards for temporary and per residency. Now they want you to have an income of $2600/mo. Or purchase a home worth more than $350k in US dollars.

  7. Hey Aja, my husband and I are leaving next month for Mexico…have been preparing for about a year. Some preparing is necessary..visa etc but we were on it and successful with that. Your channel has definitely inspired us..thankful for you. Will be watching. We're heading to San Carlos! Rocky Point is next to Arizona border..other's should check out San Felipe too!

  8. Currently living in Europe — would like to ‘relocate’ this year (late summer/fall) but wifey, ever the consummate ‘dedicated professional’ loves her job and wants to keep working another 2-3 years… (I’m already retired)!
