Wonderful video and thank you so much for addressing my question. I haven't heard of internations so I will check it out. I also want to mention a Facebook group of "women over 50 in Portugal" where I am already creating friendships with women in Portugal or women who want to move there. I am also practicing my Portuguese 🙂
I've heard the same thing when I moved here to Portland OR 15 years ago. People are friendly but they already have their circle of friends they grew up with so it's highly unlikely that they'll bring you into their friends circle. Probably that way everywhere with people that grew up somewhere.
