  1. Good and it's an eye opener for anyone prior to moving to Canada. Everyone needs to do a complete research and analysis prior to make an informed decision to relocate.

Below I provide from my Comparison of systems mainly standard of living, cost of living, job opportunities, compensation, safety environment, taxes etc in Australia, Canada, UK and the US:

In Australia, retirement benefits including retirement income from Superannuation (like Pension, RRSP /LIRA in Canada), are TAX FREE. Can anyone believe that retirees receive six figure retirement income absolutely TAX FREE?

In the UK, Annual Limits: Tax Free Accounts up to 20,000- Pounds (C$35,000- approx) for 18+ Years of age, for minors up to 9,000- Pounds (C$15,300-), Tax free Capital Gains of 12,300- Pounds (C$20,910-), Tax Free Dividend Income of 2,000- Pounds and Tax Free Interest Income up to 2,000- Pounds. Canada tax system destroys the middle class; US taxes are quite low but Canada is great country for those rely on Government benefits GIS and OAS for their survival.

Job opportunities for highly qualified and talented are bleak in Canada and as such, most move to the US, Singapore, etc for suitable jobs with outstanding packages and unlikely to return to Canada; More high tech University students move to the US for good job opportunities and higher compensation that they can't get in Canada. Strongly believe that Singapore, US, Australia, UK offer more great opportunities for highly qualified, professionals with great compensation packages than Canada.

Concerns on hiring or awarding/promoting on merit basis as "who you know is better than what you know" and racial bias in evident in the workplace. Health care may be great for those are working in the Industry but may not be for patients, taxpayers and Canada as it may not be sustainable in the long term.

  2. I am here in Canada for last 3 years. 2 years as a student I lived very cheap shared accommodation, common cooking, public transportation, no dine in or shopping. As covid hits which helps me to pay my tuition fees from Government. Then I bought a car a used one for just $3600. THAT'S IT!!!!!
I don't have any savings anymore, I have to go 2 jobs to save anything. I am doing that right now and still hoping for tomorrow.

I had very expectations from this country, I know if I move back to India, there is nothing rather than religion and stupid politics. But if I stay here, I would end my life by just working every day wasting my golden days.
If I saw this video even 6 months before, I could say SCAM!!! They are trying to demotivate people to come here. As of now, YES you are right. I will move out from Canada soon after I get my PR to a better country. I know my country sucks (everyone have different lifestyle and different education level and standards, I am from a middle class family and can't build from scratch there. The politicians will loot everything from me as donations.)

The main Reasons why I will leave this country are…….

    1) Housing
Which is super expensive, compared to even US. Renting would cost at least half of your earnings in a month.
    2) High taxes
Even if you are getting $25/hr ends up $17 after tax which is ridiculous. And they are charging 13% tax for that tax money if you want to buy something.
    3) Immigration
I know this is crazy but they don't have any immigration plannings. They are inviting 400,000 people a year and there is not enough housing or 'good' jobs for people who are here. Without any plans they are inviting more people and make everyone suffer.
    4)Cost of living
Insurance, mobile plans, rent, grocery, gas and credit card bills these are the basic things you want here and which will cost you 90% of your pay check. If you live like a slave for 10 years and save all the money. Went some dine in or a vacation, BOOOOOM. You need to start from , zero again.
    5) Social life
You definitely need to move out from your comfort zone at a point and it is almost impossible to get a social life you had before. Most of Canadian or Immigrants just wanna smoke weed and stay in home. You will eventually will be on depression.
    6) Health Care
As mentioned in the video everything true, I thought Indian government hospitals are worst but I swear to god you will get emergency treatment from a third national country like India but not from a so called Developed county.

Everyone moving from a foreign country asking how much salary you are getting per hour, and calculating which with their local currency. That's BS, ask for how much savings they have? What they achieved? You will know what you gonna get

Ps: I am not mentioning cold ass weather because the government can't do anything regarding this. But all the things I mentioned above, they don't care.

  3. Very good information. I m retired bank employee. My son is M. Com. His wife is also M. Com with a six months infant. Should they think to move to Canada. I don't need him to send me money for my expenses. I get pension. He should only settle down. What type of job can he or both can find, if I keep the infant with me initially. Can they survive for a year? People come there on student visa with limited work permit. Please advise and oblige. Very kind of you.

  4. hi, how is Gensika immigration consultants from Canada.. if you could advise if they r geniune.. i m in India n tried for PR but since nothing worked i thought of getting a work visa thru them.

  5. Canada is hell on earth. Literally just saw some homeless man scrape the FLESH OF HIS LEG OFF WITH A SMALL METAL RAKE on my way to class. The cities also are pretty much just giant refugee camps but with more drugs.
