Why is This NYC Apartment INSIDE a Parking-Garage?

This is one of the coolest New York City apartments of All Time, hands down. It has 2 floors and a massive outdoor space that could hold at least 10 honda civics no problem. Plus, its got insane views of Midtown manhattan which are surprisingly peaceful since there is not a direct line of site to a busy street. This place would be so comfortable to live in, but the only issue is Im unable to afford it. How about you?

  1. Great apartment to be a peeping tom!!! LOL! Love the apartment, and the roof top space. Hate the price:((((( Perfect for a family, and not many NY apartments are!!

  2. 100% in agreement with your Stephan Colbert comment!! "The longer he stays around, the less funny he gets…It's too bad"!! Loved him in "The Daily show" and "The Colbert Report". ….it's been downhill since. Thanks for taking us around NY apartments. I was born and raised there, and can't believe the prices these days!!!

  3. Wild. I just stayed at Dream this weekend and that whole block I patronized. Premier Deli, Serafina, the corner, PHD. I can't suggest that area enough. It's perfectly above Times Square where you can avoid the real crazy crowds and still get amazing food and a reasonable walk to Central Park.

I hadn't stayed in midtown for a while, but I forgot how consistently good the food is. You can easily get lost in the tourist traps, but great spots still exist, even if sometimes they still are considered tourist traps. Angelos is absolutely worth it. The baked ziti is insane.

  4. If I can afford $9800 a month to rent an apartment, I can afford to rent a much cheaper one with with something to see out the windows besides other buildings.

  5. I reckon if this guy went to Hell he would soon be beaming about how cosy it is, and how, even tho it's north facing, it still receives a lot of light from the burning fires (and glowing bodies therein)… 😉
