Why We Chose Poland as Our New Home 🇵🇱 (vs. Other EU Countries)

After we left Ukraine and crossed the border into Poland, we had to choose a country to make our home with potentially all of the EU open for us.

The choice was obvious: Poland.

  1. before you decide to settle, visit Krakow Wroclaw Lodz. Especially Krakow. Warsaw is our capital, but you are going there to work in "Korpo" for "capital" a city without a soul

  2. Food, and gear in Poland is cheaper, because the goods are produced in Poland, and sent to Portugal or Germany… I live in NL, and I order a lot of things from Poland. Especially building materials. I can get the same Polish brands in local DIY store just 2,5 times more expensive.

  3. If you like modern buildings with nice balconies in Warsaw you may like to check out the neighbourhood close to Plac Niemena in Żoliborz, or the neighbourhood between Rostafinskich street and Kulskiego street in Mokotów (they have a restaurant with real, full size palmas inside) or Marina Mokotów (although this one have almost no restaurants, but it has kind of an artificial river), or Miasteczko Wilanów e.g. Sarmacka street (nice restaurants, only new buildings but quite remote), or Obrzeżna street (nice restaurants, least expensive from this list).

  4. Repeat please:
"Trzy rozszczebiotane cytrzystki z Trzcianki przedzieżgnęły się w chaszczach w pobliżu Pszasnysza." 😀

Check the beaches on the other bank of the river (and the whole Praga district).

  5. I agree with You about proximity its important, l live in Sweden not far from Poland but there is more differences than between Polish and Ukrainians, the same language does not sound so familiar, and mentality, here its tottaly washed out from spirituality, sence of humoue is different etc….and what more in spite its north neighbour its still a sea between and not so quick to travel as from Poland to Ukraine…so just understand your choice 🌹💐🕊

  6. Come to Poland! Our government is corrupted the same way governments in western countries are and people are pretty brainwashed by television but birds are pretty!

and lately it's less Poland cause 5 mln Ukrainian people will live here too, 36 mln poles + 5 mln ukrainians …. some about 87% Poland in Poland. Plus corrupted mostly non-polish government.

  7. Hi folks , just got back from France- you`ve sold Poland to me, going to try for there in June. Was there many years ago with my the then g/f Alina( so wont have her this time jabbing in my ear) …we were in a town not far from Belarus border . Yes the Poles are such a cool lot,we have had many living and working in my area of England,,,take care you four and be safe..29. min of vlog,in the city centre, there used to be a Mexican restaurant .is it still there?

  8. Thank u for this beautiful video. I live in the US and I've never been able to afford any travel as an adult, but I went on a school trip to Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic. It was a wonderful experience and I just wish I had got to see more of Poland. I'm glad u and your family are safe, and looking forward to more of your videos 😇.

  9. Thank you for this video! I moved to UK 7 years ago and really didn't appreciate what I left behind until I left it behind 😂 however you're right / Warsaw is a special place and it will always be in my heart. Enjoy your stay in Poland, hope it all goes well for you and you will be able to go back home soon.
P.S. Stary Żoliborz is absolutely stunning, one of the most beautiful places in Warsaw

  10. I have returned to Poland after 18 years of living abroad in the UK. I always had the same feeling that you have described about the US – I could fit in or feel good no matter how hard I have tried. The UK is a fantastic place with amazing people but now that I have returned to Warsaw I finally feel in my place on earth. There are of course downsides and upsides to every country but you have to pick the one that you feel that you fit right in. I wish you and Marina all the best in the future and maybe I'll see you around Warsaw one day 😉

  11. Most of 45+ Poles know more or less Russian so even though Ukrainians are no longer willing to use this language (which is fully understandable) we can still easily communicate if necessary

  12. You look like me uncle from Bialarus Republic check it once you probably have also family there and your voice is same as his xd Baranowicze city is the place where he lives check it bro
