Today we’re going to show you how to install and setup Starlink Internet and our first impressions. Let’s find out together if Elon Musk keeps up to his promise.
This video is not sponsored by Starlink and represents our honest opinion!
In few weeks we will follow up with a little review and let you know about our experiences with Elon Musk’s Starlink. This would be the perfect moment to subscribe and hit the notification bell so you won’t miss any of our coming videos 😉
My name is Jasper and we are in the middle of renovating our house in an abandoned Portuguese village. Together with my dogs Zoey & Akira we show you the rebuild of our house and what it is like living the daily life in Central Portugal. A lot of tasks are still waiting for us and we will show you in the next video how far we will come. Thank you for watching!

Two problems: one or both of the dogs are possibly likely to chew the cable. Hang it at the roofline. Two: Get the legs of the dish drilled and fastened in the concrete ASAP or it will become a kite seeking flying lessons.
Bolt it down and put cable up
Hope the dogs don't chew the wires! Maybe go around the back of house, up high?
Fabulous glad you got it sorted out in the end looking forward to hearing about the updates
Are you going to secure the dish in case you have a storm and it blows over, great news that you have a faster speed it means more videos then!!!
If it doesn’t work as advertised I’ll give you Elon’s contact so you can complain
surely if the earth was actually a spinning space rack that’s spinning at 1000 mph and travels 66,600 mph around the sun in a yearly orbit of 58 million miles while the solar system spins around the galaxy at 480,000 mph, while the galaxy goes around the “great attractor” at 2.2 million mph and that the “great attractor” is 100 quadrillion times bigger than our sun. All that motion while travelling 19.2 billion miles in one year and the north star (Polaris) stays in the same position in our night sky year after year and we don’t feel a thing? Surely, you would just be able to point your satellite straight up into the sky, right? Or, you are just aiming it at the closest ground based mast 😉
20 Mb of upload feels kind of short…
It the atmosphere expanding creates drag on satellite have a back up internet!=8)
Normal sink rate per year for a satellite is 1.5 miles this year it 22.5 =8)
Keep an eye out for solar flares !=8)
Thanks for your vid 😇💟💟💟 Love you all souls, I would lock it on the roof with some bolds if there comes some wind starlink will be on the ground and broken.
You are very clever Jasper
Tell us more about Duarte. He has become key part of the project. Perhaps he could do an occasional presentation for the vlog.
Ik ga ook in Portugal wonen .
Hope the dogs don't chew the cable.
🌀💚🌀I want StarLink….🤔
Tesla , Space X , Starlink , neuralink .
I'M a big fan of Elon
Zoals je weet .
Starlink kost wel.€ 100.- per maand Jasper , maar je kan het wel meenemen in de transporter en je hebt overal snelle wifi , wherever , whenever .
off grid confused thought you had electric?
Secure the dish. You don´t want a gust of wind or thief to send it flying somewhere else.
Congratulations on the huge boost in speed. Just a suggestion, secure the dish ASAP. While you may be in a "ghost town" you never know when someone may come and remove said dish (people are as*holes)
Looking forward to more content soon.
