Work FASTER, work HARDER on the roof construction – Portuguese house renovation

I am in the process of renovation the roof of my Portuguese house in an abandoned village. So you thought the rafters are finished? Think again, i took off all the rafters off the first side we did, straitened the wall and put them all new rafters on… Now the rafters are finished.. i think.
Hope you enjoy this video!

  1. I have an idea 💡 get a puppy too little to escape and she may be interested enough to stay in ?????🤔 If you can properly afford and care for puppy. Make it a Chihuahua so it can never get out 🤔🤣

  2. hahaha I watch and think you are crazy, then I keep watching and I think you have a very nice smile, not like a crazy person, so I keep watching.maybe I'M crazy eh! who buys an abandoned village? many questions …nice work on the roof and guest houses.!

  3. Hey Jasper awesome job, I’ve been watching some of your handi work. I salute you , keep it up. Wish I could drop in for a visit and even give you a hand, but I live in canada. It will all pay off when it’s done. Give Zoey a hug for me. Elle.

  4. You are making great progress Jasper! I like the time laps. Funny to see in one of the days you and Zoe got into your car and drove off.

  5. Wow you’ve certainly moved up a gear … cooler weather I imagine helps …
Zoey is adorable and I think she is playing with you … she’s familiar with the surroundings and she knows where she is … Zoey says … “ I’m not lost , it just he can’t find me !” 😀
    Have a great week Jasper … 🙏☘️😘

  6. Wow, surprised at some of the hate on here!?! Wait until we get started on our project and it’s a woman with a degree in Fashion Design doing construction work! 😂😂😂
It looks like you’re learning and making corrections as you go. We’re enjoying your videos and your progress. ❤️ I think with Zoe you’re fighting a losing battle though, definitely a little Houdini!

  7. Have you tried a large anchor on a lead, she wouldn't get far.. or is it she needs to be near you she has had upheaval in her life and may need loads of love and affection. Just a thought. As know how our dogs used to be when we got them. All second chance homes. All were good loved them all. Do you have a time scale on your build or is it as and when 1 when you can get the time 2 when you get the money together or 3 when Zoe lets you. Good luck with that one.👍👍🥂

  8. Zoey is as smart as her master. Interestingly, you and Cindy share the same story – the disappearing acts of pets. Her piglets ran off a couple of times….her piglets! Funny 😂😂😂

  9. I'm not a construction professional, but this renovation looks very amateurish to me. The stones should surely be installed differently in order to hold a roof load safely. If you get started on such a project, you should at least have a basic knowledge of construction or at least have a talent for craftsmanship. Sorry for my openness, but so far everything is "botched construction". I wonder what his previous job was.

  10. Zoey, naughty child lol. I have just stopped another cat trying to get my Princess, as he is very naughty. Even though l got him doctored, he still wants to beat anything that moves. He needs to be tamed but he's hopeless. I'm trying to calm him down, so he can stay but he keeps trying to attack the other cats. 🧐🤣🤣
