What a heart warming beginning. I'm confused though…was this the ketch from the year prior? I looked through comments hoping to find the make and model boat. I missed the tie in from then to now if you told us that was the case.
Congratulations had to hold my breath there for a moment but now a sweet lady to get you to where your hearts are content just remember it's always the journey that is the fun part the destination is just a cherry on top
Congratulations to you little new home. 40ft is indeed the perfect size if you don't have an awful lot of money. Berthing is kind of affordable and you have enough space. Interestingly the next magic number is 65ft. If you go above that boats get really cheap. That's the route we choose by buying an 82ft tall ship. Wish me luck! Can't wait for your next video.

Congrats on the new boat. We are new sailors that sold everything and are now living on our FP Salina 48 with our 3 dogs, it's been 5 months and an awesome adventure, you guys will love it!
