I'm in the Algarve at present, I watched your videos and checked out Praia de Rocha today. I'm staying in Portimao, I didn't like Praia de Rocha, too touristy, Portimao is better imho. I've been to Albufeira for 6 nights, 1 night in Silves and currently in Portimao for 3 nights then back to Faro 1 night. I visited Faro in February this year, I like the place, it's a working town like Portimao.

Visited Albuferia over 30 years ago good to see it again – after watching your vlogs and honest reviews -always with good humour – will definitely return 👍🏻🧢😎🤓

Tbh, always ruled Algarve out !! Due to one main reason…I.e. it's the Atlantic sea. But must admit you've got me intrigued with your vlogs and I noticed on all your Vlogs how calm the sea was !!!! Plus, really liked the eateries..Tavernas. Thus I do hope to go there at least one time in the next 5 years..and like you say May or June would be ideal. Thanks for showing.

Been Tenerife a couple of times and great Wintersun destination. Been G' Canaria and Maderia too for Wintersun.

If people are looking for a city break in Portugal you can't go wrong with Lisbon. Your costings reports are fascinating.

You didn't include bus fares which would be interesting to know as that's how we would travel.

Thanks for your advice Kevin 👍👌I love Albufeira, stayed in the Sol Aqua apartments, they were great, quiet but close enough for the night life if that's what you like, the wee train is just up the hill on the main road beside the shopping centre, takes you to the old town and beach. Heyas Kev.I.N having never been to Portugal the series hasn't made me want to switch from Spain. I think alberfura would be the only place that grabbed my attention and maybe Lisbon too.
