  1. In response to your question, I prefer to live in the USA. I like the wide open spaces in the West. I like gun ownership. I like freedom the most. None of that is possible elsewhere. Just strap on a Glock if you disagree.

  2. I do have a EU/UK passport and not sure if this allowes me into any European country or just UK. I’m not really interested in the EU or the US. Too much WEF globalist traitors running these countries.

  3. Although I'm not financially qualified for a Golden Visa, where there's a Will there's a Way….. and my need to escape the U.S. is so great that I will take the long route of D7 Residency to Citizenship within a 5 year span of time. Whatever it takes.

  4. This is the worse investment strategy that I ever heard. I totally think this is BS, because this scheme is to steal peoples money. There is no gains on these investments and no protection of your money in these EU countries. Perfect example is how the EU is sanctioning "Russians". They can later sanction you, for just wanting your money back. I would take my chances investing in Russia.

  5. Yeah, I don't have that much money to spend on a visa. I would rather reinvest that money in my business. I want to live abroad, in a cheap and safe place to raise a family. Am I the only one here thinking that would be better use of my time and money?

  6. I was waiting for this to come out. Cover the D7 passive income visa as well, especially since they have the NHR program. I'm not a fan of the golden visa real estate investment option since they excluded all the coastal properties, save Madeira and the Azores. You have to pay outright, no loans, which I think is BS because why would I buy property for over half a million in an underdeveloped area, and hold it for 5 years minimum? That's terrible investment strategy. I'd have to market the property to not lose on the initial costs. The D7 visa requires you to spend 4 months in Portugal, and no more than 6 months outside. With the NHR, if you live in the US, then this should be perfect since you utilize your home state for your tax residency. You're going to have to pay US taxes anyway. With both the golden visa and the D7 option, you still need to wait 6 years. The only difference is 7-14 days and a not so bueno program vs 4 months on an easy as hell program. I'm definitely not donating them or depositing money then to have them reject my citizenship application on a whim of some random politician. At this point, the Caribbean countries are a better option for a passport, and there are faster and more flexible options for EU residency. If you're not looking for eventual citizenship, then Portugal isn't the best choice, as they update their requirements for which you need to requalify every 2-3 years. I'd need a more stable option.

  7. if I had a Polish passport, and spent 4 months in Poland and 4 months in Czechia, would I need a residence permit in either one, since I'd have been in the Schengen for over 180 days? Or does the country switch reset the timer?
