We’re cracking on with the plastering in this video and starting the process of covering up some of the conduit we ran for the first fix electrics. We’re hot mixing hemp and quicklime to make a wonderfully sticky base coat for our old stone walls.

You must be very pleased. This has been such a valuable experiment for anyone trying to insulate an old property with thick solid walls.
There is a specific machine for making channels in a wall. No idea what its called in English. In my language (dutch) we call it a muurfrees. It's two or more blades like on a grinder. And you run it over a wall. Quite dusty, but many have dust extraction. The ones I used go through concrete and stone without a problem.

Just my personal opinion: I think it would be a great look if you do not plaster the wall that separates the two rooms (the one visible at the 20:00 min mark), but instead keep its original look. Keeping the original look of the wall would be a great highlight for the room, I think. Since the wall just separates two walls the plaster should not give too much insulation benefit, right?

Normally we have stud construction here in Ohio, but I had a run of the flexible blue conduit above partition wall that didn't go to the ceiling. It was mandated by the city for a fire alarm which couldn't be placed on top of the wall, but had to be attached to the ceiling. The electrician called the blue tubing "Smurf tubing" owing to the intense blue color of the kids toy. You'd be welcome to call it that as well!
