Little break from the renovation so time to get more fruit trees planted. The more I spend time here in my rural Algarve garden, the more I fall in love with this way of living. Spending time away renovating the village house during the week reinforces that feeling every time I get back. Slowing the pace and taking time to attend the garden is a great way to relax. I also want to show you the floor plan of the house to give a better idea of the route I’ll be going. With such a simple shape, I’m planning on adding all the character further down the line by making as much myself. From furniture to kitchen. Then the outside will be part of the living space including continuing the kitchen outside. After all it’s all about the outdoor living. I’ve added a ‘buy me a coffee’ for those interested in contributing and think my channel deserves it. Every penny goes back towards making these videos. Thanks for watching.

I’m not sure if you watch other YT channel Justin Rhodes, he does a lot of soil and land enrichment. Using his animal to fertilize. Mobil chicken coupes, it’s a system.

Oh Andy you're a scream, jumping up on and down from your miniature tractor 🚜 with the agility of a monkey ! I'm having a good chuckle today and I could do with that. I wouldn't mind coming to your Pool party but you won't catch me in a bikini. Those days were great but unfortunately, behind me. I do enjoy listening to you and taking part in your life there, as much as you feel free to include us. These are exciting times. I'd be doing a lot more contributing but I don't possess any plastic cards or even have an address where I could sent you a little parcel so you will just have to do with my very best wishes and a "like". That's also contributing isn't it by helping those algorithms. I suppose it's better than a poke in the eye with a fork. 😉

Help ….please make a plan when getting well water with bucket!!! Slippery slope ..? Rig up something to help you or the dogs to hold onto to climb up/down!!!. 🤔🤭😭🏴☠️But do this when your brother can help, or there might not be a pool party!

Hi Andy another good video,you need to keep a power pack to jumpstart flat batteries when there flat handy to have around.see Pedro the tractor done a great job cutting the grass,tomatoes will grow quite easily any where should grow ok and if watered.trees will produce some good fruit I did read somewhere someone took off the buds for two years to produce more fruit don’t know if that’s correct.

What will you do when all of those trees bear fruit ? you will have a glut, and when I lived in Spain my orange trees bore fruit twice a year and I ended up giving most away
Also if you want to keep fruit tree low, I used to apple pick on a farm where I had an allotment, the farmer used to tie the end of the branches down lower to the tree to help when picking, also we’d pick off the worse fruit on each bundle down to three best condition to give more life to them, hope this is of use to you?
Oh dear your carrots, tomatoes and onion need to be further apart, the carrots need to be 8 to 12 inches apart and in a deeper container, I don’t know about carrot fly in Portugal but in the UK it’s better to have the container high up to avoid carrot fly, experimenting is the best way to learn 😬
