  1. Trust me on this…. watch a YouTube channel called Living Web Farms, if you roll the grass and chuck a range of small plants and flowers, then roll them when it's tall and keep doing that, the land holds water, regenerates and thrives for growing crop trees etc

  2. I could really hear your conversation with your neighbour over the tractor, but I think he said the American made tractor was a lot of money?? Do you pay him for the service or is he a great neighbour? 😆😆😆

  3. Hello Ken and Genna.
Last week I found your channel and since then I am (almost😉) constantly bingewatching. Luckely it rains in the Netherlands.
It is so interesting to see how your live is changing so quickly and how good you both are adjusting. Big compliment for you two!
Thank you very much for sharing a big part of your life.
    Greetings Marjan 🌷

  4. Good day guys, just starting watching you and subscribed. I saw Theo and Bea come to see you on last weeks vlog and thought I would take a glance. Anyway that glance has turned into me reaching episode 32, I have a long way to go yet. I have to say the timing couldn't have been better as it's something I am looking at doing.
Seeing you guys go through the wholes process is quite tutorial really for me as I know nothing. I've been looking at themovechannel agents online for property in a similar area, looking forward to the hours and hours to come.
More power to your elbow and don't forget, work harder work faster.

  5. I always watered my garden in the evening, as doing it in the morning runs the risk of boiling or scorching the plants during the day.
Could've repurposed the cardboard you had taken to recycling for storing the potatoes. I used to bank up my potatoes with soil, instead of having them flat on the ground.
Cardboard makes great compost too and can be used as a substitute for mulch. Plant your new plants through it, water and watch them thrive!

  6. (Moira Ashton) Your veggies aĺl look very healthy plants! Loved the drone footage.. what a gorgeous cat, lovely that he follows you around! I've just joined your Facebook page… I'm watching these out of sequence, 🤩😍🥰

  7. Heya guys! Have you considered getting Guinea Fowl? They love to eat insects and ticks more than chickens and they are very gentle on plants so they can eat the pests on the veggies too without hurting your crop.

  8. So great to see the whole farm is flourishing. It changed from a wet and cold looking place to a green and luscious farm. You guys done extremely well. Love watching your video bcause it relaxes me. Thanks. 👍

  9. Awesome….just awesome….you all have put in allot of work….looks great….hope you become part of Portugal and productive in your area, locals will like that and will support your efforts.

  10. Your channel is just great 🙂 Power to you both and all the animals, plants, flowers, waters and trees !!! You are doing an amazing job. So much love on the land. And such a good vibe! I dream I can meet you guys one day to exchange knowledge, when I return to Portugal definitely. Eu sou portuguesa and I have a beautiful farm there as well. Greetings from Belgium !

  11. It's a really good idea to stand the water especially on a brick to keep the shavings out of the water… Marbles or stones in the tray also allows them to drink but not drown in the water (it can happen 😟)
If you try raising quail for eggs & meat they only take 8 weeks from chick to table!

  12. super cool guys very interesting to follow you which region in Portugal do you live? and the sea is far from where you are? we want to move to Portugal in a few years, success all happy doing what you do super keep up the good work

  13. Hi, did you have to make the deal with your neighbor to harvest the hay for you or is that something that the previous owners set up and you just continued?

  14. Hi guys .LEKKER…..In an earlier episode i saw a shepherd moving his flock across your land and now your neighbor harvesting your hay. Do you charge any of these neighbors for the use of your land or is it some what of a trade off ..cheers
