Seven Hanging Valleys Hike in the Algarve in Portugal

Join us as we attempt the Seven Hanging Valleys Hike in the Algarve in Portugal. The scenery on this coastal walk is stunning. It’s one of the best hiking trails in the Algarve. Get more info about the Seven Hanging Valleys walk:

We started in Praia do Marinha (Marinha Beach) and aimed to make it all the way to Praia de Vale Centeanes, but unfortunately, we had to turn around just before we reached the Alfanzina Lighthouse. We also made a stop at Praia do Carvalho, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Algarve.

The 4K drone footage in the video is shot with our Mavic Pro.

When you visit the Algarve, you must hike the Seven Hanging Valleys!

  1. Algarve brings back so many great memories when I visited a couple of years ago. I didn't do the Seven Hanging Valleys hike, but wish I did because it looks amazing!! Miss those beautiful, clear blue waters. Didn't know they had forest fire problems there. Good thing you didn't hurt anyone when you threw those rocks!

  2. That's one attractive coastline! I especially love the shots at 1:39 and 2:03. Coastal erosion makes for some intriguing rock structures. Were the seagulls chilled with the drone? I've seen videos from the Algarve where they try and attack them sometimes! Yeah the railings are definitely a good idea with giant holes dotted about. Oh man, glad you didn't hit anyone with the stones!

  3. Wow the landscape is truly amazing and I love a rugged coastline. The holes are pretty unusual too. I made a stone stack myself in NH this summer lol. Secret stairs to a private beach, I am in!

  4. Nice video! Those 2 arches makes me want to fly drone through it. Thank you for the heads up about not throwing rocks in sink holes . Beautiful beach and the view.

  5. You guys always find such hidden gems. Looks pretty fun and not too challenging but the views looked worth the hike. Loved the spots with the view of the water! Simply spectacular

  6. How many miles in total is the hike/walk? I would love to take those secret stairs down to that beach; so gorgeous! April's sister has been here (when she lived in Portugal) and raved about it to April, so she really wants to go there 😊
