Hi, I’m Nick and I’ve been living in the Algarve for 20 years. Today I’m showing you what life is really like in Vilamoura, as apparently many people are keen to buy houses close by to this beach side resort town in the Algarve. I hope you enjoy it!
Some of these links may give me a small payment if you purchase (at no extra cost to you), so if they help you, they help me. Thanks for your support!

Nick. I am in Vilamoura and interested in Real Estate. As I recall you can recommend a good realtor. Any information would be appreciated.
Finding portugal a lot more expensive than I thought for rent
Great video 👍🏾 Thank you
Another good video, Nick. Well done!
wtf?!? Is that how much golf usually costs?!? Who can afford that?
I gather that you must have a car to get around unless you live right at the marina
Any info or commentary about “old village Vila Moura” ?
fabulous video tour thank you Nick
Great overview of Villamoura. We are planning a week there in January. Can you suggest a good area close to both reasonably priced golf and walking distance to the marina? Thanks.
Great video! Lovely to watch and very informative. Thanks, mate.
I’m hoping to find out more about home prices in this city and all of the Algarve, so I’ll look.
Great video, thank you! I've booked a weeks holiday in Vilamoura next Summer 2022. I'm planning on moving to The Algarve so will explore and find a base. Your videos are proving to be so helpful for this! Have you considered making a video for new expat arrivals on building up friends on The Algarve? I.e what groups, communities, clubs, activities are there to meet and make like minded friends. I understand you have a family and you're well established, so it's probably not a top priority for you, but perhaps you can interview someone that built up friendship circles over time and explore what channels are available. Internations is a good start but what else is there that some of us newbies could learn about?
Absolutely great! Your videos are very informative. They are real. Thanks!
Another great and informative video. I have watched a number Josh’s videos, they’re also great.
Very good presentation from both of you.
Hi Nick I love your video's because you take the time to really find out about the places you video. We have lived in the Western Algarve for over 11 yrs now and you have given us valuable information we would otherwise never have known. My daughter covers Real Estate in our area.. anything YOU would like to know.? You can ask her..
Thanks for your excellent video. One thing I don't like from Portugal is the gasoline price, it is almost three time than in America and the autoestradas, you have to pay in all of there
Great video. What is the coldest temps in the Algarve ?
Great video !
Thanks for your videos . Very helpful !!!!
Great job! Thank you. I will share it.
Any courses in the Algarve around $40 per round?
Vilamoura is not really a town, it's a private resort that looks like a town. That's the reason the strange lack of public structures.
Have lived between Vilamoura and UK for 11 years. Vilamoura ìs modern and affluent but not intimidating, the Old Village is worth a mention if only for its originality. Quarterira is as you say authentic Portugal. Vilamoura as it sits between makes a great base and within easy reach of the N125 taking you to Tavira for the one day or Silves in the other direction for another. Shopping malls if wanted in Guia and Faro-20 mins either way. Fantastic location!
These videos are so good. Thanks 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Your videos are so very helpful in getting a feel for the Algarve and the maps and satellite views help tremendously. I'm trying to decide whether Portugal is the right retirement locale and, if so, which part. Your videos have been invaluable.
Been there a few times. Didn't like the area around the marina – congestion and yobbo's. Everything there was relatively expensive and modern. The adjoining traditional town Quarteira is better.
Wow, great beautiful video💫 Thank you so much. I really loved the school and it feets to what I'm looking for.
Which area/neighborhood will be recommended to look for a place to live?
Gorgeous! That's the most expensive Algarve city. Do you happen to know how much is docking for a 25-30 ft boat?
It's so nice to watch your you tube videos especially at the moment as we are not allowed to travel there, but can't wait until we can again, it won't come quick enough for me. We bought a villa 4 years ago now and it was the best thing we have ever done and love every part of Vilamoura, it is our 'happy place!'
