What to do in Faro Portugal in a Day 🇵🇹 Algarve Travel Guide

Spending a day in Faro, the capital of the Algarve, Portugal. Making sure to get our last pastel de nata fix, going to the fairground that was on, checking out the historical architecture, and visiting Ria Formosa.

We headed away from the beautiful town of Carvoeiro and made our way back to Faro before our flight home to England. First stop was to a cafe to get a coffee and pastéis de nata. After this we headed to check out the architecture and history of the city but got caught in a market/funfair-type set up – we’re still unsure if this happens regularly or if we just turned up on the right day!

For what we had left of our day before the flight we went to Ria Formosa, the wetlands near to Faro. Ria Formosa is also a designated Natural Park of over 170 km² and a stopping place for hundreds of different birds during the spring and autumn migratory periods.

After this we caught our flight back and made it back home safe and sound after a wonderful trip!

  2. I can't help but say: Portugal is the best country in the world, I've been to Portugal back in 2003-2004 where I've been working and living and I've got to tell you the people are so friendly and so welcoming, the food is great the streets are clean and the beaches are so pristine that I've decided to move to Faro Algarve and next year I'll open a private practice ( I'm a therapist, a clinical psychologist), God bless Portugal and the portuguese people 🤗

  3. Great video as always bro! Loved this Portugal series 🇵🇹 I always used to buy my family fridge magnets from every city I visited but then we lost them all when moving house and I've not bothered since but its nice to see my family isn't the only one who loves them 😂 That beach area with the houses in Ria Formosa looked so peaceful, it must be great to live there! Looking forward to seeing what videos you make next, Loz 😀
