Some of the best things to do in Lagos, Portugal: wander the old town and get possibly the best pastel de nata ever, check out the marina, stand in awe at Ponte de Piedade, relax on the beaches and get a tasty meal to finish the day!
We started our day walking through the old town of Lagos, checking out the beautiful buildings and stopping at a lovely cafe for delicious iced coffees and pastéis de nata. We drank and ate while sitting on the street and enjoyed the natas so much that we had to order two more! Next up Han took us to the marina and to get a takeaway lunch from Pom Pom Bagels (to eat later at the beach).
We then got out of the town and went to the famous Ponte de Piedade where we stood awestruck at the other-worldly rock formations. Ponte de Piedade was definitely one of my favourite places to fly the drone too – although it was a very windy day!
After this we went to another top rated attraction within easy distance of Lagos town centre: Praia do Camilo. We walked down to the sand and then through a tunnel carved into the rock to find a perfect place to sit and eat the bagels we’d bought back in Lagos. The sun moved round and most of the beaches became pretty shaded due to their position facing east, so we chased the sun further back round the coast to Meia Praia, an absolute expanse of soft white sand.
For sunset we headed back up to Ponte de Piedade and enjoyed the glorious views of the Portuguese coast as night faded in. We rounded off the day at a delicious Portuguese/Italian tapas restaurant, Mangi, back in the town centre. We enjoyed glasses of vinho verde (our new favourite!) and had olives, a huge focacchia with 18-month cured meat on it, bruschetta with a salad, cheese and a garlic and parsley sauce, and shrimp.

Great video!
where is the name of the bakery/restaurant where you got the pastéis de nata?(:
Wow, amazing views!!!
another nice place..
just a quick one, the plural of pastel is not pastels, but pasteis, one of the peculiarities of the language…
I've not (yet) been to Portugal. But you make it look amazing. Thank you for sharing.
Love Lagos so much! Glad you guys had an amazing time! Ponta da Piedade is beautiful. I actually didn’t go down like you guys did. I also really liked Praia do Camilo… and Vinho Verde? YES PLEASE. Great vlog, Loz!
Love!!
Watching through all the Algarve videos and loving your VLOGs. We are heading to the same town in a few months and we can’t wait. I’ve got my drone and we’ll be posting great stuff on our IG too. Did you have any problems flying your drone there?
Beautiful. And I loved the music in the background.
Beautifully filmed !
Viewers must be aware that it’s freezing in winter. I’ve never been so cold in my life ! Portuguese buildings and homes are poorly constructed with minimal insulation.
Don’t come to Lagos until late March !! (maybe April 😂)
Ah Lagos!! My favourite place in Portugal 😀 Glad you both had a great time there. Ponte de Piedade truly is stunning isn't it! Looking forward to the next video from Portugal 🇵🇹

Great video again! You're certainly making me want to go to Portugal now! Also, am I the only person who gets a bit of a Welsh vibe when you say Carvoerio?!?
Love how you both explore the area and try the local foods so many people vlog their travel but don't fully experience the whole place and culture Wonder tour and ideas! 🙌💖
Next stop, Lagos Nigeria and do a comparison video! Good idea right?
Was this a sightseeing or food tour?! Sooo much delicious food! And how did you not move with that flyyy on your face in the beginning!😬
I thought Lagos was in Nigeria 😊
Omg beach please!!!🏖🏖🏖
I found out there are at least two Portuguese online Uk retailers that will deliver anywhere in the UK for about £6 delivery so if you want vinho verde, I wouldn't mind beting they stock it. Ginha would be my go to from there,
I'm loving that rocky coast.
I want to live somewhere called Lump! It should be twinned with Plwmp in Wales.
